Magnetic Generator

Doesn't it seem odd that we have to pay a local company for something that is perpetually available to all of us naturally?I'm talking,of course, about energy.

In these"green times"more and more people are turning to alternative forms of energy and finding that not only does it save them money, but it can also help make money when they sell back their generated energy to power companies.

Another form of energy that is yet to be explored and refined is magnetic energy

As far back as 1269 a man by the name of Peter Peregrines developed the first known permanent magnet motor. His original work is on file at the New York City Public Library.

The Peregrines P.M.M. remained dormant for centuries until Mr.Lee Bowman of California revived it in 1954.He developed a small scale working model which served as the template for building today's permanent magnet motor,or magnetic generator.

Building your own magnetic generator at home requires little skill and a few easily obtainable items. There are several websites with easy to follow instructions that will get your magnetic generator up and running in no time.

The technology is not as obscure as you may think.Permanent-magnet(PM)generators have been used in wind turbines for several decades now. In order to be used in conjunction with small wind turbines, the permanent magnetic generator must be low in cost, light weight, low speed, high torque, and of variable-speed generation. The generator is easy to manufacture and the design can be scaled up to a larger size without major retooling.

Permanent magnetic generators are so cost efficient and practical that their use for small scale wind power applications is almost a no-brainer.For such applications, characterized by low speed of rotation, the axial flux permanent magnet generator is particularly suited, since it can be designed with a large pole number and high torque density.

If you are interested in "beating the system"while going green,I suggest surfing the web for information and instructions on how to construct your own homemade magnetic generator.Who knows, the magnetic slabs you have lying around the garage or work room may be all you need to ease yourself off of the grid for life!
